Assisted suicide or Euthanasia is not legal in Costa Rica and it is legal only in Switzerland, Belgium and the State of Oregon.

In my opinion EUTHANASIA HAS TO BE APPLIED TO PEOPLE that are in the final stage of their illness or when the person is in comma. If the person can talk, eat, sit, think there is not any reason to end with his or her life.
In Costa Rica life in inviolable as the Article 21 of the Constitucion Politica says ¨La vida es inviolable¨ . Our legal system will never accept to apply euthanasia or assisted suicide.
